This super rare 50-year-old Speyside single malt was laid down at the Glen Grant distillery on June 11, 1948, spending its first 20 years maturing in the distillery before being transferred to Gordon & MacPhail warehouses in Elgin to complete the brewing process. maturing over the next 30 years.
Drawn from a numbered oak cask, this magnificent decanter was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail before the turn of the 21st century. The label style depicts the Latin Gospel 'The Book of Kells' and comes in very good condition with original presentation case, glass stopper and signed Certificate of Authenticity with tasting notes.
