BALLANTINE'S 12 YEARS contains Miltonduff, Balblair, Glenburgie and Old Pulteney as base malts. This scotch is a premium, smooth and complex blend. It is the result of a selection and blending of 40 malt and grain whiskeys aged 12 years and over.
Launched in the 1950s, Ballantine's 12 year old is recognized as an international benchmark for premium Scottish whiskies.
Golden in color with amber reflections, the nose reveals notes of honey, fruit and iodine. The palate is creamy and chocolaty, with gradually developing sherry notes. The finish is short and slightly smoky: perfect as an aperitif.
