The 2013 Echézeaux Grand Cru has a pure bouquet with mineral scents of blackberry and raspberry, as well as a slight marine influence. The palate is surprisingly concentrated considering the growing season, thanks to the last vineyard picked on October 12 and the ultra-low yields of 16 hectoliters per hectare. It has an impressive weight with a fine thread of acidity. There is a soft mouthfeel, but with the volume one would expect from a Richebourg on the finish.
"Alcohol is harmful to health, to be enjoyed in moderation."
