The 2014 Grands Echézeaux Grand Cru has a more expressive bouquet, perhaps more floral than the Echézeaux at the moment. There is a mineral component here that is discreetly sewn into these aromatics. The palate is medium-bodied, quite saline on the attack with a bit more density than its “little brother” its mouth tingles the sides long after it leaves. This seems to be a step up from the Echézeaux at this prenatal stage, reflecting the class of this great grand cru.
