Château Margaux's second wine, Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux, produced since 1908, is one of the oldest known second wines. Representing 50% of the production, it comes from the very strict selection made for the great wine as well as from the young vines of the property. Rich, deep, it develops subtle aromas of blackcurrant and vanilla. A superb wine that rivals many classified growths.
