Gevrey-Chambertin 2017

Open and expressive, the 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Village springs from the glass with notes of cassis, berries, licorice and soft earth tones. Medium to full-bodied, supple and succulent, this is a fleshy and charming Gevrey. It comes from finer soils on the south side of the commune which tend to produce more immediate and open wines than the Brochon side of the appellation.
